Mayans and Muslims?

Mayans are some of the most unique indigenous people in Southern Mexico and Central America. A vast majority have kept in full the Mayan spirit and tradition. Even with the Spaniards denigration for over 500 years they still have history, culture and dignity. Islam is flourishing slowly even when their contact with Muslims is very minimal.
